PROBER is an acronim and stand for PROgrammable BEam Robot.

It born as successor of HULK, the first minisumo's robot built with programmable beam technology. Hulk was the winner of several minisumo's matches even if was penalized by his poor mechanical instability. Prober, beeing the evolution of Hulk, is programmable with enhanced capability. Firstly it is not a minisumo robot but a home personal robot, then it has more synapses and more sensors. Moreover is programmable via software even if do not have a microcontroller. The compiler will generate the list of synapses to be added. Actually the project is steady on simply "avoiding obstacle" behaviour but in the future it will follow the light sources and then will search and reach the base itself.
